Does any one know what adhesive to use when gluing fabric embellishments to plastic flip flops?

I'm a big fan of the cool melt glue gun. Cheap and it works great. Make sure it is COOL MELT or you could end up melting the plastic.Does any one know what adhesive to use when gluing fabric embellishments to plastic flip flops?
E6000 glue from Walmart or any craft store, the glue comes off the plastic easily - use this with the hot glue and then it will stay FOREVER!
