The chrome/plastic lettering on the boot is peeling from the boot of my Focus and im wondering what i can use to stick it back down without harming my paintwork.What glue/adhesive do you use to stick a plastic name tag back onto your car?

3M 2 sided tape is what the manufacture use's so why shouldent you?
any type of glue besides Elmers water based will harm your paint, or look like crap, and Elmers wont work, so buy the tape and dont cut yourself with the razorblade
