What process should i use to remove paper and adhesive labels from plastic bottles?

I am looking for a NON CHEMICAL process to remove paper adhesive labels off of plastic bottles.

We have already considered warm water as an option but we are also looking for more ideas just in case the warm water doesn't work.

Thanks :)What process should i use to remove paper and adhesive labels from plastic bottles?
It's really very simple. Just partially fill the bottles with water and replace the cap. Leave them in a sinkful of water overnight. The next day the labels should lift right off. What process should i use to remove paper and adhesive labels from plastic bottles?
i generally soak them in hot water with a bit of washing up liquid in, that seems to work and then rub them a little with a non abrasive cleaning pad
Hot steam will work. I know its a chemical but Goo Gone works well and wont harm plastic.
Heat it up with a hairdryer and remove.
rubbing alcohol
breathe on it 3 times
